As the country continues to build more and more new homes we are delighted to have been asked to provide twenty steel site accommodation units to support the development of 80 new homes on a mixed-use development in the London Borough of Greenwich.
The anti-vandal, OpenSpace steel units have been built by Danzer at our production facility in Nottingham and are leased by AV Group for two years to construction firm Bouygues which is building the £20m scheme for owners Family Mosaic.
Our specialist delivery and installation teams have sited the units on two levels with ten units on the ground floor and a further ten stacked directly on top and linked by external stairways and doors. They will provide welfare facilities for the construction team including toilets, showers, changing rooms, canteens and a kitchen with service area. They will also provide office facilities for the project management team which includes boot rooms, toilets, meeting rooms, offices and a further kitchen facility.
The design and build scheme at Creek Road in Greenwich will provide a 83 homes, of which 62 will be for affordable housing. The development will also include 1800sqm of commercial space at ground level. Family Mosaic is one of the largest housing providers in London, Essex and the Southeast, providing around 24,000 homes for rent.
The new homes are due for completion later this year.
