AVDanzer is delighted to be supporting Wates Living Space Homes once again, this time as it is building a series of affordable new houses in West Timperley, in a new joint venture partnership with Trafford Housing Trust.

Wates Timperley Modular Building

The scheme will deliver much-needed, affordable, high quality homes and will see the renovation of the disused 1.4 hectare Bayer industrial complex which has lain derelict for many years. Taking its place will be 33 high quality family homes and 29 apartments, accessible via a newly built road bridge over the A56.

Commenting on the project AVDanzer Director Helen Scott said: “We have supported Wates Living Space on several previous projects, providing welfare accommodation units for its residential development schemes. At Timperley, we have delivered and installed six units, triple stacked with a separate WC block to make the most of the limited space available on site. The units, which are spray painted in Wates’ distinctive blue brand livery, were delivered and installed to the client’s satisfaction.”

Phase one of the scheme, called Stonebrook, is due for completion in summer 2017 and will be marketed under the Laurus Homes brand.

Trafford Housing and Wates are also delivering a wide range of local business, training and employment opportunities linked to the scheme. These will include the creation of job opportunities, apprenticeships and work experience placements, plus a ‘Building Futures’ programme which will offer local jobseekers the chance to gain basic construction skills.
