AVDanzer is proud to be supporting Truman Design and Build as it constructs a new 135-bedroom hotel alongside the Irish World Heritage Centre on Cheetham Hill, Manchester.
We have installed 6 32 x 10 ft cabins on site, stacked 3 on 3, which will provide welfare and office accommodation for the team during the construction programme.
The Irish Centre is one of 4 live jobs we have with Truman, which is affiliated to Medlock FRB, who we have also dealt with for many years so it is great to be supporting such a long-standing client once again.
The units, which have been finished in Truman’s distinctive black livery, provide office space, a project meeting room, induction room for visitors and subcontractors coming on site, kitchen, canteen, drying room, toilets and wash facilities.
The World Heritage Centre is a major base for the local Irish community and offers a diverse programme of cultural activities, alongside conference and events facilities.
The hotel construction consists of a ground floor steel transfer deck, housing accessible bedrooms, reception area and conviviality suite. Above this, three floors of light-gauge steel superstructure will house all additional bedrooms. The exterior of the building will be a mix of blockwork and render, creating a modern look. Further works include a new frontage to Queens Road, extensive landscaping and car parking for 110 vehicles.
The hotel is expected to open at the end of the year.
