The Royal Horticultural Society is creating a stunning new 62 hectare (154 acre) garden in the heart of the North West at Worsley New Hall in Salford.
Construction of the garden is now well under way and AVDanzer’s units are on site to provide the team with office and welfare facilities. We have installed ten units, stacked 5 on 5, which have created offices and meeting rooms for the team as well as a high quality space for the team to relax and unwind.
The building incorporates a small security unit and store and we also supplied carpets, barrier matting for internal walkways and even sourced the furniture for the client at their request! A viewing platform gives visitors an elevated view of the work taking place across the site.
The creation of RHS Garden Bridgewater is currently the largest gardening project in Europe.
The Society’s first new garden in 17 years, it will deliver benefits to the local community as it grows into a world-class garden. The first phase includes the restoration of the four hectare (11 acre) Walled Kitchen Garden. There are also plans to deliver a programme of community outreach and education activities, including a new schools Learning Centre to grow young people’s horticultural knowledge.
The new gardens will open to the public in 2020.
